Hey people, just wondering because I've heard of some websites (particular some ebook-promoting websites) that claim that ebay is a great medium for selling your domain names. Personally I havent try Ebay before, anyone here has any prior experience to share?:p

It's not a good idea, because ebay is best for selling tangible products. I haven't seen a well reputed member for domain selling at ebay. Web mastering forums are the best for that.

    Good luck

Alternatively you can sell domains here at DP or sitepoint market place.

I have had ok luck selling domains on eBay but I also think it is better for selling tangible products. One day you might sell a domain for .99 then the next $200 is just really hard to call.

    Good Luck

i've bought some LLLL's dot com at eBay. You can't forecast the closing price, I've did some good deals but a couple of names were high priced imho. Beware of seller reputation and ask or provide domain ownership verification eg. uploading a txt file to the website.
