    I'm curious as to why the overly common default response to any niche site for sale is:

    1) Traffic proof
    2) Revenue proof

    It's almost a Pavlovian kneejerk reaction. If you take a look at the site and see that it has potential or fits into your niche, why would you need traffic proof? If something looks interesting, buy it, build it out yourself, and reap the benefits. The reason why sellers are selling their sites is because they either don't have time to manage it or build it out. That's for the potential buyer to do.

    Final bit of common sense regarding the matter: No one's going to sell a site that's highly profitable or heavily trafficked for under $100.

    Im guilty of this myself but I am sure you know people "SHOP" differently than other.. like watching a used car lot.. some people kick tires and others raise the hood.... some just look and walk off..
