Selling Credit Card Site - Looking for Quick Sale - Going Cheap

Discussion in 'Sites' started by LazyD, Mar 3, 2007.

Hello all, up for sale is my Credit Card site, this is the first site I developed when I started internet marketting, its time for me to get rid of it, I have other projects on the table and I have frankly lost interest. There is a lot of money to be made in this area, of course there is also alot of competition, if you can keep the site updated, post articles, etc. You will be good...

    Site Details:
    URL: http://getcredit365.com
    Opened: Sept 2006
Revenue to Date: $145 (From Credit Card affiliate & Azoogle)
Traffic: Fluctuates, usually averages around 20-30 Uniques a day, if you submit an article to Digg, Furl, Reddit, etc you can see up to 150 a day.
    PR: Predicted PR of 3

Submitted to many directories including many paid ones like Aviva Directory
Has Admin backend to add/update News and add/update Articles, they need some finishing touches

To update credit cards you simply download the Excel files, save as CSV and plug into custom script.

Ill be honest, the backend area is a little rough around the edges, it needs some work, thats why im selling so cheap.

All Articles on site are unique.

    Starting Bid is $10
    Bin is $75

The auction will go until someone buys for Bin or until March 5th at 12pm PST

I will be happy to answer any questions...

The hosting was having a slight glitch at the data center, everything should be up and good to go now...

Also, domain is registered with Namecheap

It is going that cheap because it is banned from Google index (Re- your earlier post "Site not indexed and Google Webmaster showing scary info..."). It is banned from Yahoo too.... Where does the 20-30 uniques come from? MSN?

... I assume you own both domains cause getcredit365.com redirects to getcredit365.net, right? Putting it on a getcredit365.net, is it an attempt to avoid the Google ban? The site for sale is the site I see at getcredit365.net, right?

I may still take the site though... Please, reply to my questions

I assume its banned from Google, turns out it was banned when I bought it though, im not 100% sure about that, I have a reinclusion request in with Google. I apologize for not mentioning that before, it was late when I posted this and I probably should have waited until morning to do so.

I wasnt aware that it was banned from Yahoo...Last I checked I had pages in their index...

Most of the traffic comes from forum signatures, digg, stumbleupon, etc.

I guess in all reality you start the a new site from the current infrastructure with a new domain name/site name...

Yes, I personally wrote a few of the articles, most of the articles were written by an outside writer that I use for multiple sites...

They are all unique and I have full rights to all of them

If some of them are written by someone else, do you think you need to put the name of writer for those articles?
