If I was to take a free script, buy a domain, and get the script loaded up with all the content someone would need to start off a site then sell it would that be a problem to the free script makers? I would really only be charging for my database that I already have and my time for setting it up.
Strictly speaking it depends on the type of license the script has, but in most cases you'll be fine as long as the buyer realizes its the right to use the script they're getting, not ownership of script intellectual property itself.
i dont think that should be a problem.but if you say that the script costs money its wrong. you should specify that the script is fre and you will be charging for the content.
The script is free, I would have no problem telling them that. I would be charging for my time setting up the site and the database I would be providing.
Lots of people do this with proxies in the BST here. I would check the terms of use for the script, but you should be fine since you are charging for the database and setup cost.
you need some traffic too make money otherwise ppl dont buy. If you can show some revenue then ppl can buy your complete website. Thanks
