Selling Books on Amazon

    I started a website (http://dynobooks.com) on which I post blogs under Life, Relationships and a couple other topics. I've been doing this for about 3 months and even paid a professional agency quite a bit of money to help me get up and running fast. I published press releases, have worked with stumbleupon, facebook, twitter, and digg....still very little traffic and 0 conversions. Any ideas?:(

    At 3 months, you are still relatively new and it will take TIME to become KNOWN and acquire traffic to your blog. How much did you pay the professional agency to 'get you up and running fast'? It's just a BLOG and you could have done that yourself or asked WordPress members for help. You have to get your name in the search engines and develop backlinks with other sites/blogs. Promoting your blog/site is an ongoing process.

    Do you know if you're ranking at all in the search engines? Build content and work on some quality links. Find similar websites and blogs to back link and comment on. I don't know how much money you've spent, but you could always try to run some ads to get visitors.

    yes, everything you paid to get up and running fast could have been done by you. Lesson , do your research first beforre you open your wallet. You will find that most times you can keep it closed . Hubpages,squids,and other backlinks will help your blog as fast as they could .

    First thing you need to do is log into your word press admin area.

    then goto Dashboard->Options->Privacy

    under blog visibility, click the top option to allow search engines to see your site.

    At the moment you have all search engines blocked.
    (this is the default setting so search engines do not index you whilst you are setting the site up)

    Thanks!!! So much for the professional help I paid for. Me being new to Wordpress and web Marketing, I would probably never caught this! So much for their attention to detail.

    Think about joining Borders affiliate program. They have 8.5% commissions and probably a longer cookie.
