I have been using AdBrite ads for the past 2 months or so, and over the last 30 days I have been averaging $0.53 per day. I was using popups at one stage, but removed them to try and gain some more users. The future owner obviously could put them back on.

Currently, I am trying out Google AdSense to see how that goes.

Can you give us a clue to how much your looking for the site, you must have an idea ?

Right now I'm running it on a 10mbit dedicated server with 1000GB bandwidth.

I'm using this server for my forum that uses a lot of resources, but not bandwidth. So far this month ShareSpeedy has done about 250GB.

I'm happy for the person who buys to move to their own server, or they can keep mine, and I can move the forum (it will be easier to move the forum as its only a MySQL database).

The server has cPanel so shouldn't be too hard to transfer regardless.

What do you pay for hosting per month?

 

The dedicated server is $69 per month. You would not need such an expensive server though, a VPS with large data allowance would be more than fine. Off the top of my head, Leeware have an unmetered VPS for $30 which would run this site perfectly. Like I mentioned before, I have the dedicated server to run a large forum on which uses lots of resources (RAM and CPU).

I wasn't going to run this as an auction, but may as well now.

Start the bidding at $80, with buy it now set at $250. End time now + 5 days.

Nothing right now. I haven't really promoted memberships. I ran a competition a while back where the member with the most downloads on their files got a prize. That was about 2 months ago when it was started.
