Hey, I am selling an ebook but I don't have a website built. I was wanting to know how I would go about creating a website for selling the book. Just a basic thing where the first page has a sells pitch with a link to buy the book and a way to gain a email list. And then when they buy the book get directed to a thank you page.

You need to get a good web host and build a site. A simple google search on selling ebooks should help

First of all you must get a domain and a webhost.
Then do a google search for free landing pages, there are some really good templates out there.
For building an opt-in list you will need an autoresponder, i like to use http://aweber.com, is the best in my opinion. Right now they have a 30 days trial for $1.
REgarding payment processing you can use paypal, or http://e-junke.com, http://clickbank.com and build an affiliate program and find JV partners. You can adverise your ebook in the Clickbank section of DP.

Get one domain name + hosting + a PayPal account (or an account with another payment processor), then look for a squeeze page template.

Here are some free templates: http://www.strategicprofits.com/pages/templates/

If you don't want to invest any money you can get a free blog at Blogger, but some prospects may ran away of you (free website & free hosting don't seem to be professional)
