Selling adverts on my site - how?

    I have 6 ad blocks (200 x 200 pixels) and 5000 uniques a day, is it likely I can sell these for $50 a month? And if so, where would I go to get advertisers? As opposed to waiting for them to come.

    5000 uniques is not bad but selling banners requires several considerations .
    the demographics of your visitor base , loyalty/ retention , their purchasing power ( depending on what the advertiser is selling / promoting ) etc.
    To start with , post the url here and ask / see what other members might be willing to pay .

    put your website on here....i am always looking to grow my links if they are from a "proper themed site"....i have clients with all types of sites...so it could also be of interest to them.
