    It's not like a message on a facebook GROUP. If this were a group, then they would only allow 5k messages to be sent. The mechanics of how facebook pages (which these are) works like this.

    The owner or an admin of the page goes to the page's location. Types in a message into the comment box and clicks share. When an admin or the owner does this, the message they share is automatically placed into the live feed and news feed of every "fans'" homepage where most users spend 80% of their time. So when people are online or get online at a later date they see messages that the owners/admins of the pages they are fans of, posted.

    In essence, 2million fans can see your promotional message. I have found that entertainment based/humor based websites do best.
