    And even if he was a mod, he has no right to sell a forum he does not own. Does not matter even if he is a co-admin.

    I know, I know. I feel stupid, but shit like that happens, I will get my paypal money back though, that's for sure. (I'm not letting this go though, to put this in a simple way let's just say he won't be scamming anymore people..).

    I am not sure if your dispute with Paypal will hold as far as I know they only entertain case wherein there are goods involved. Things like services or virtual items are not covered for chargeback. http://www.paypalsucks.org/paypal-chargebacks.shtml

    That's not necessarily the case, I've had a dispute over something I bought on DP where the seller never transferred the domains or replied to my PMs/emails. Paypal got as much of the money back from me as they could, though it was only $15 out of $120 (presumably the fraudster had cleared out his/her account after receiving my money).
