I was thinking of using PayPal, however I find that some what risky, due to PayPal's gay resolution center, and because large sum of money might fall into suspicious activity.

How do you guys accept payments for websites?

From what I've observed, escrow is probably the safest way for both parties.

I have never experienced selling a website, but if I were you, I would probably prefer getting paid through Bank Transfer or Western Union. I'm not sure, however, if the buyer would like that or not.

The Western Union method is attractive to me, aside from Bank Transfer, because I am not from the U.S.A., & it is one of the simplest ways for me to receive money from other countries. Although I don't know if that is applicable to you. :)

I have sold many high value sites and either use Wire Transfer or PayPal.

i would recommend you Direct Deposit/Wire Transfer OR Western Union, don't go for PayPal, little chance is that Buyyer may open a Dispute, so don't take chance..

if your website's value is over $500 then surely go for Escrow Payments otherwise go with Paypal. Keep your funds for one day before sending over the information of the website/database to the new owner.
