I'm thinking about selling an established website but I have no idea how much it is worth. When assessing this type of thing what do you bear in mind when evaluating the price?
Agreed I also might want to buy it so I guess that makes me biased. Still would like to send me the URL. I'm always interested in advice sites with potential.
Part of the problem is I have not earnt any income on the site in the past 18 months, through my own fault not having the time to maintain and attract new customers. I dont want to give out the URL as I am not sure that people would pay what I think its worth. Potential revenue is $80k a year.
Darren, Is it a set and go project? Or is it one that needs to be manually updated? If it's a good potential earner and a set and forget site, it will definitely guarantee quite a bit. But, it's hard to say without knowing the niche. You definitely want to factor in the potential earning point, the age, the "authority" nature of the site if any (PR, number of links, .edu links, Mentions in the media and such). Good Luck with the sales, Ana
