Selling A very good Poker Site!!

Discussion in 'Sites' started by Scarface., Oct 3, 2006.

i am selling my poker site, I have spent the last three months writting content and advertizing the site, Here is some information about the site:
-I started the site in July
-Will be PR 4-5 by the end of the update. (a few weeks from now)
-The site has over many unique tutorials (written by myself)
    -Few Player Profiles
    -Poker News
-There are alot of backlinks from high PR websites
    -Poker Site reviews
-There are a lot of movies (a media section)
-There is a forum integrated with the site, and I have made the template fit the site itself.
-Everyone gets their very own personal blog on the site
-There are about 120 registered members
-The site has had few offers for advertisment for about 60$ a month but i have not yet contacted the person.
-There is a poker glossary that is filled with terms used in poker.
-There has been a few software Downloads, but I am waiting for the stats to re-load.
-The site is extremly search engin friendly with such links as http://www.picturepokerstrip.com/tips-for-playing-an-online-tournament-3-2.html
-This is the example of the type of tutorials your likly to find:
The traffic is great for the site, you can expect about 3-6 signups per week. I am looking for $$$- to low $,$$$ or the best offer.

If you are intrested PM me and i'll send you all the details that you might be intrested in.

The reason im selling it is because I have started university and there is no time left for working on the website. I wish to hand it to someone who can take it to the next level.

I've received e-mails from our casino affiliate programmes saying US players are suspended. I found this if it helps:

The amended version doesn't criminalize the act of online gambling, rather it prohibits American poker players from using U.S. financial institutions and their banking tools, including credit cards, checks or funds transfers, when depositing or withdrawing funds at Internet gambling sites. If the law is enacted by President Bush, it will become illegal for online gambling companies to accept monies from U.S. financial institutions.

But obviously do your own research.

Can we seen screenshots of income?

Just type in "Internet Gambling Bill" in Google NEWS and have fun.

The Legislation basically kills all international banking instruments to be used for online gambling for USA citizens. By international, I mean those operating within the USA borders like many banks, Visa, MC, and so forth.

Some online gambling destinations have discontinued accepting business from USA citizens already and many are waiting until the bill is signed into law, which will be this week.

Anyway, you can go read up on it for yourself.

There are some issues with them too. Right now, they are holding steady until the legislation becomes law.

Don't forget, there's a 9-month window on the law as well.

However, if the gambling places don't allow US action, it really doesn't matter what payment method you can do.

Your article is old. The legislation, in watered down form, already passed Congress and will be signed into law this week (next week latest if Bush is busy).

Don't feel bad. I've seen many people quoting old news. There was such a flurry of crap over the past few weeks on this issue.

    This is from Party Poker.

There are several other sites taking the same route as Party. Do your own research if you are serious about this stuff.
