Selling a site - How do you manage the transfers of accounts like Adsense and TLA?

I love blogging so I doubt I'd sell, but I keep thinking that because I run a couple other sites from my primary account, it may be hard to sell the 'core' site.

Has anyone else dealt with companies like Google or Text-Link-Ads in order to transfer ownership of a site account to a new account?

I've contacted support for both companies and neither are fast to respond, so I figured it couldn't be too unwise to build future sites like you planned on one day selling them..

    thoughts?

I would not transfer accounts. You just have person who buys site add thier ad code instead or you could for them.

Good point, and then just remove that site from my google account.

And I think with TLA you'd just change your account info after letting them know and should be good to go.

    Interesting :) Thank you!

    Hello,
Yup, only replace the new adsense block for all the old adsense block, and that is :)

Yes, they are right. Never give out your account info, etc.
