I'm thinking about selling a site of mine which is generating around $10,000 yearly, if I was to sell it would be for around about a years profit.

I've never sold a site for more than $500, and I've always used PayPal for transactions, but as the amount would be over $10,000 and I've heard horror story's from people sending $2,000+ with PayPal I would need another method.. Any ideas how it could be done? I thought maybe bank transfer but I'm not too sure how international bank transfer would go and how long it would take to clear.

Definately use escrow.com whenever I participate in a transaction of over $1,000 with an individual that I have not had business before I use escrow.com and split the fees.

Yes, escrow.com is great. I've used it several times to sell webpages. Its the only way to do business involving large sums of cash in my opinion.
