You can sell any UK company but you will need to make sure all legal paperwork etc is completed and documented. You will also need to check the companies history to make sure it has no debt etc which you are taking on.

Basic info can be found at www.companieshouse.co.uk

    UK company formation costs $40

In which country did it get Ltd Status? US/UK/India?
Also what was the company registered for? How old is the company and for how many years have you filed taxes?

good luck selling it then...taxes would be a rather important part of selling a 'real' company...;)

you might want to contact a lawyer to sell a company...private deals can go sour very quickly on both peoples parts...
