Ive never sold a domain before so some basic info would be greatly appreciated.

Ive got a .info domain that I had a forum on. The forum somehow got wiped and my backup was corrupt so I havent done anything with it since. Its coming up PR4 in a page rank checker, does that mean its a PR4 domain?

I bought the .com for it after the forum was up an running so that would go with it too.

Also, when you sell a domain, do you just have to transfer ownership or are there more steps involved?

    Thanks guys. :)

That and get hold of the money, I guess. So if the price you are hoping to receive for the domain(s) is important, I'd use an escrow to intermediate the transaction and make it secure for both parties. sedo.co.uk could be an option.

Yes, if you see 4 next to your domain name in a PR checking tool, that means you've got a PR4 domain :). Having the .com along to backup the name is an advantage. Rises the value of the overall package you wish to sell.

Post the domain name. Tell us that the site was about and what the domain name could be used for. Yes if the domain name is currently PR4 then it will be a PR4 domain name. Tell us where its registered and when it expires. When you get the money sent to you then you transfer the domain name to the other owner.

    Thanks
