Like i say im still waiting to hear from them but if an offer came in via any avenue in the meantime id have to consider the quickest one. Thing is though like i say i know i could make a great xhtml/css compliant website that would bring in at least 20k+GBP so is selling for $5k - £2.5k my money worth it?
You may have already heard or read this, but just be cautious when dealing with them. Do some background work of your own to find out if they are indeed legitimate. Above all, use a payment processing service that will protect you, the seller (definitely NOT PayPal). Escrow service is best. And do not invest any of your money upfront to make this sale happen (eg appraisal services). $5k is my opinion, is a good offer. Good luck with the sale. .
Would the success of this site you could build be dependant on it being on the natu.co.uk domain name? If not, then why not sell the domain and invest that money in building the site on a cheaper domain? For that price (if they are a serious buyer) I think the domain is overpriced and the offer should be accepted.
I agree with Vic ... too many scammers out there and they will sweeten the email and then you find out that its all about purchasing some appraisal before they consider buying the domain name. Make sure you research your potential buyer before making any decisions.
Thanks guys like i say i havent heard back from them yet so might just keep it. Natu would be an integral part of the snappy name for the place being a health site so think ill keep it.
I think 5K is a bit steep, I don't think it's a realistic offer hence why they haven't got in contact, because it would make sense just to get an alternative name as natu isn't really a common word and on top it is only a .co.uk name. However if you are that confident you can bring in 20K with your own site go for it..
Yeah think this site could be great, the short name just sets it off. Im not selling def not thanks for spurring me people lol even though they have a good short term offer. If i can make 5 times that then theirs no point and i know the industry inside out so should be able to have some success.
