    He showed me a sample pr5 and pr6, but both of them were .edu blogs of sort, and the commenting function had been taken off, so he actually couldnt add the link on there, and neither could I when I tried.

    Until I see the links, I will not be paying this guy, as it seems a bit shady.

    I would suggest showing 1 to 3 of the websites where the buyers link will be displayed. This will help build trust, and also show your buyer what they are getting.
