    Clever request.

Also, I might bid if you transfer domain before getting money.
You can rely on my iTrader if you care.

I agree. If you can change the nameserver, I'll bid, too.

So I exchanged PMs with $tumbler to "negotiate" the sale of n70.com. He was all nice and friendly in the beginning. We agreed on a price and we were ready to close the deal.

But then I asked him to point the domain to a different nameserver, just to verify that he owns the domain name and has control over it. He became very irritable and said he'll raise the price if he has to do that, gave me the "take it or leave it" drama, and, finally, told me that he's already in negotiation with Nokia for the sale of this domain. Sounded fishy to me.

If you ever have to deal with this guy, I'd suggest caution. I'm not saying that he is a dishonest person, but something about that way he does business just stinks. If I were him and a potential buyer asks me to show proof of ownership, I'd readily comply because my buyer has the right to ask for that.

Just don't want any of you to get burned, if he is what I think he is.

$tumbler, point the name somewhere else just to prove that you own the domain. After your prove ownership, you may or may not sell to me. I'm sure a lot of people here will readily buy the name from you as long as they have proof you own it.
