Selling Selling 2 well established gaming sites

I am selling two websites today

I'm thinking of selling it (video-game-chat.com) and the site odysseyofhyrule.com that I have as well. I demand at least $450 to recoup from the costs of buying vbulletin 4 and vbseo as well as a wprobot license. I will accept paypal only, so be mindful of that when thinking of hitting the buy now button.

Anyhow, I don't really have the time to manage it anymore, so I can sell the domains, the db's etc that go with them. The most recent addition I was planning to add was some boxes to go along with the threads for better seo like this

Well since I can't edit my OP, the bidding for both sites start at $350 with $10 increments. BIN price is still $450 and includes both websites. The sites will not be sold separately, they must both go! Any transfer fees must be paid for by the buyer.

After bidding/buying, I will gradually grant the buyer more and more permissions to the sites starting with admin access and after one week, ftp access, after 2 weeks, everything will be transferred to avoid fraud. I will continue to give free support/assistance for 6 month's as a bonus for whatever I can help you with.

If no one gets to the BIN price, bidding will continue until 4/2/2014.

 

What are these sites? are they just forum for video game?

Odysseyofhyrule is a oldschool zelda fansite that's been around since 1998 or so, the domain name for it is fairly new but the site has some history behind it. Recently I introduced a blog to it to help drive traffic.

 

any revenue for this site?

 

Those two sites bring in a total averaging $10/month without me having to add content, do maintenance, promote it etc.

 

if you are transferring it after 2 weeks, how can we trust you ?

you need to give immediate transfer after payment.

 

Excuse me but I've never done anything for anyone to not trust me. This is my first time selling and these are my conditions for selling & giving out support when needed.

 

yeah thats it. Why are you taking 14 days to transfer site even when some pays once they win it ?

 

I don't want someone to chargeback before the sale finalizes and then be left with nothing. Besides, what is so wrong about waiting to make sure everything goes without any issues?

Also like I stated it's not as if they won't have any control over the sites while the transfer completes.

 

A chargeback can happen months after the transaction has occurred and paypal can be reversed up to 6 weeks after the payment was sent. You are not really protecting yourself by making people wait 2 weeks and probably just turning off any potential buyers.

 

Use escrow if you want to have piece of mind - making someone wait 2 weeks _after_ they have paid you is just wrong
