I am still new around here and know this is always discussed... How profitable is it for selling eBooks? And where is the best place to sell them? Also, how long should one be for sale? Is it okay to download some and then sell them again? Just looking for some feedback on success and non-success of selling them! Thanks, Shawn
The best product is always your own product. If you can write your own e-book you have a better chance of selling it because you are in control. However, if you cannot write then you an go to Elance.com and hire someone for about $20 or $30 and ask someone to write it for you. People always look for e-books to start making money online but there are other methods too...
In my opinion, ebooks are tired. I've always wondered why someone would "sale" me their $100,000,000 secret for $67.
That is sort of what I was thinking... it seems sort of crazy in that somebody is only making money off the book sales. I did spend 5 mins on eBay and see thousands of books for sale! Sure that somebody is making $$, right? Maybe? Having a lot of experience in the automotive industry, thinking about something centered for the Service customer and what they should expect - make sense?
It's better for you to give away free eBooks on the title that you wrote. Make sure that you will make a profit wit backend products. Thanks Nizzura
eBooks are great!....depending what you read they can be very informative. Agree with most, you need something original to sell/promote. Dont get on that AMWAY like bandwagon promoting eBooks when they've already been thrashed through affiliate marketing. A couple questions: 1. Does anyone know how to protect an eBook from being shared? 2. Does anyone know how to make eBook covers or the cost of getting someone to make one or a few? Cheers
em, i am hooked to answer this post ;-) My name is Suthan, and i am a full time internet marketer and a part time coach to a few others.. I have been making succesful profits selling digital books, a.k.a ebooks.. let me answer a few questions. How profitable is this business model? VEry much.. You dont have any stocks, overhead or such things, to count, so any mony you make is actually your profit Besides, your not limited in stocks.. your business profits is just how much work you put into it. Hong long should one be on sale is really up to you.. i have my own product that is been selling for the last 2 years, and still making me money up to today ;-) its only okay to download and resale if you have rights to sell them.. most of my products is of personal rights, hence its not available for resale. Hope this helps buddy
1. Does anyone know how to protect an eBook from being shared? yes, Get DLGuard. Thats a software protector by someone i know, and is really reputable.. this has helped to protect my ebooks from being indexed, shared by others.. 2. Does anyone know how to make eBook covers or the cost of getting someone to make one or a few? if your good with graphic designing, do it yourself.. if not, i will suggest you leave it to the pro.
How many pages should a book be for sale? How do you decide on pricing? Is it simply based on volume that you can sell?
As a rule (don't ask me whose rule), anything under 10 pages is considered a "report," or "newsletter." Yes, you can still sell those. $7 is a good price for 'em. Pricing is decided on what they will pay for it. Yes, it is based on volume.
Downloading an ebook and then reselling it? If you have master resale rights yes and if there a demand for it. Otherwise you can RE-WRITE it and RE-PACKAGE it as your own. This means you have to RE-NAME it and RE-PRESENT it in a different form than you originally got it.
you can sell them through a site either your own or someones else www.ebooknetworking.com Regards Alex
you can prevent your download link from being shared by using linklok they have a few variants for paypal and clickbank
