I just had 2nd paypal chargeback/dispute in few months. the latest is website that I sold here : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2113709 I get all the payment and website & domain has been transferred to that guy. until a day later I got an email from paypal said the transaction has been held as un authorized. How can that be? He made the payment from the instant paypal payment from the auction link. my auction thread link does appear on the paypal payment details/receipt. I had explained everything to paypal but today they got the dispute close and approved the chargeback. Is there any way for us as buyer/service provider to get some protection from this chargeback issue?
Of course... always use an escrow service. http://blogs.digitalpoint.com/entry.php?b=89 https://www.escrow.com/solutions/domain_name/index.asp
