There is a new scam out there so be careful. They are targeting printing companies. They contact you requesting a large amount of prints, and then they pay with a fake CC, then and ask that you to wire the money for shipping, to their own choice freight company, by the time the wire goes through, the CC is rejected and the scammer is hundreds richer. These scammin' SOB's got me up to the point of wiring the money to another freight company , that's when i put on the breaks and realized something wasnt right. Between me and an associate we realized what was going on. Here are some links to similar scams. Please be careful how you conduct business online. http://www.patrickstuart.com/archives/2008/07/07/african-printing-scam/ http://printplanet.com/forums/sheetfed-web-offset-discussion/14521-beware-printing-scam http://www.bogusartfair.info/shippingscam
I never wire anyone money....sounds like all the other scams...some try to overpay and ask for the difference to be wired as well..i just laugh....
I just want to strangle these bastards. My wife got her hopes up, just to have them deflated. This would have been about a $5000 deal, which would have been a nice lump. Oh well, you live and you learn right.
^ haha thanks, i wasn't going to buy something, but I was a few months ago from printplanet, looked somewhat trustable, lol thanks man!
