Is there a way to sell sites without disclosing the url?

I think it's a nice way to filter out the tire kickers....

I fear if members do not show domain name duplicate threads will abound.

I wound not want to have to start a conversation with every seller to ask the domain name.

No, there isn't. If you were a buyer, would you buy a site/domain that you don't know what it is? lol

No, but there is an option like this on flippa to request the url if its a confidential listing.

Surely that would encourage frivolous queries - even with the "request the url" option?

Is the problem that you need to give more info up front so the tyre kickers have their questions answered?
Or is the problem that you want to hide that the domain is for sale?

Under what scenario would someone request the URL and you wouldn't give it to them?

I guess if you'd seen their behaviour on the forum and didn't trust them to complete the sale.
