I have written a robot that fetches directories from the internet and finds the submit form ob those directories. It also paid directories from free. Each type of directory is returned separately. We are planning to sell this software for $100 or provide the data free of charge and let people submit to these directly from the convenience of our website. What do you think I should do? Sell of Free submission service?
with my experience, selling such services without very good reviews very difficult, at least in start. Very few people really may want to buy in such cost just my thought.
It seems to me you have three ways to proceed: You can sell the script to users You can charge people to use your submission service Or you can give it away and try to make money from ads. Selling the script direct to users may be the better option. I doubt you will get $100 a user.
There are people on this forum who will a manual submit a site to 100 directories for as little as $3.50 so a DIY type of thing is going to need to be pretty cheap or offer some bulk options. The time to copy and paste 100 entries would take a good bit of time.
