I have clients who want to be able to take out items and put new ones on themself. (change their inventory according to what they sell)

Is it possible to set up a interface for them that they can just brows for a photo off their computer and enter in a couple feild then hit submit to add new items? How is this done?

    THANKS!

Any cms, commerce scripts with admin backend can do it .
The problem is they must have some knowledge of edit the content/pictures/text.

Are you already running a specific CMS?

I'm pretty sure you could set this up in osCommerce with a limited admin account.
But I haven't used osC since the dawn of time ...

Why don't you offer to do it for them - for a yearly fee of course. It will be quicker for everyone, and you won't run the risk of them trashing the site/database, and then having to repair it. There's nothing more dangerous than a client who thinks they can 'do it themselves'.
I've got a few clients that pay me a considerable yearly fee for 'unlimited updates' to their sites. It amounts to about a single day of work each year :D
