Has anyone here got any experience with self publishing? I'm planning on selling a couple of titles through my website. Firstly I was thinking an e-book. Is there any reason why I can't just make my own pdf then let people download it for like £3 with no overheads? If so then what extras do something like Amazon createspace or Lulu offer? Then I was thinking of selling some print copies POD through lightning source. Their website doesn't seem so clear though. Anyone know exactly what you have to submit and whether or not you pay up front? If anyone does have any experience in these areas then advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks allot guys!
