    Hello,

I want to start movie site and I need some simple GUI because I don't know how to build a website so I would like to know if self-hosted wordpress is good for this kind of site? Anyone here to share experience? I bought a movie wordpress theme but I got some problems with the videos. When I want to put a video the video won't play, I'm using flow player to play the videos and I'm hosting the videos on my server. Should I convert the videos, make them smaller? I want my site to have good quality videos. Also would like to ask you guys what kind of server do I need for this purpose. I think I have the regular one on hostmonster.com. So any tips would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

If you host the videos by yourself you'll need toons of bandwidth. Try to donwload latest flowplayer (3,27) and try with different formats (flv, avi, mpg) to check if there is the problem.
