Hello friends, while i was surfing my site on internet to check any error or vulnerability, by mistake i clicked one of my google ads. this happend 3 times with me. So what will happen ? will google delete my adsense account? my site icbse.com
But you could have stopped it immediately after clicking the ads, this would have stopped the click from being recorded.. I don't think they will ban your account for just simple 3 clicks Or you can email them at and explain them the situation. Be optimistic and good luck.
3 clicks isn't that much, but it is pretty foolish to make the same mistake that many times. Remember that if Google persistently pick up clicks from the same IP address (yours in this case) they'll get suspicious, and won't think twice about banning your account.
People have been removed from adsence for much less then that... I suggest you remove your URL asap from this thread and not EVER do it again Dont waste your time contacting them....let it go, and dont do it again thx malcolm
Contact Google. But before you do, fix your 728x90 advert across the top. It's breaking AdSense TOS because it's being "obstructed" by the content covering it.
There can be two cases:- 1) If your site receives high traffic and high clicks than 3 clicks by mistakes will be detected and discounted from your account 2) If your site receives low traffic and low clicks say 10-20 clicks a day then you are likely to get banned. In either case, contact google and clarify the situation along with the link of the ads that you clicked (if possible)
Contact google immediatly - it's better solution. But, I agree with ttomp13: you must fix that top banner, first. Come on - if you wanna show a banner 728x90, show it in 728x90! Otherwise, it's wrong and google will realize. Most common mistakes: 1. Click in your own banner; 2. Don't show completely banner; 3. Ask other people (in your own website or in other places) to click in your own banner (if you ask in other places, anyone can say to Google about it and they will check, if they confirm, game over!). I'm sure 3 clicks is not enough to get you ban. Google will keep track you clicks pattern then only conclude if you do it accidentally or intentionally. If 3 clicks will get you ban then there will be a lot of accounts will be ban too. I'm sure a lot of people did accidentally click on own ads, perhaps more then 3 clicks too.
I suggest that you contact their support and tell them what happened and assure them that it shall not happen again. If not, Face being BANNED! ALSO, this is not guarantee that they shall not ban you. ~ Mike
Do it too often and you will be banned for sure. I suggest you block Adsense by using something like Adblock. That will solve your problem of accidental clicks.
