selection of keywords

    Hello Friend,

    I select keywords for my website from google adwords but i also want to know that what is google trends and how this is helpful for us to select keywords. What is the differnce in google adwords and trends for keywords selecting.

    Google Trends is used to find a topic.

    For example, lets say I want to create a website about
    massage therapy to make a profit.

    I would go to http://www.google.com/trends and type in
    massage therapy in the search box.

    The results tell me that the level of searches is relatively
    constant throughout the year.

    So I decide to choose this topic.

    Now I can head over to http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/
    and type in massage therapy in the search box.

    Now I'll pick at least 10 keywords out of the first 20 listed.

    In this example, I might choose:

    massage therapy schools
    massage therapy jobs
    massage therapy training

    and a few others, you get the idea.

    or I could also go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

    For instance, the Estimated Avg. CPC for the keyword..
    massage therapy schools is 10.23.

    This is pretty high and so are some of the other keywords
    related to massage therapy.

    Now I have to figure out how to make a profit.

    My best bet would be to first get a domain name related
    to massage therapy and get some hosting.

    I should write articles or pay someone else to write them.

    Lets say in my website about massage therapy, I'll have
    a page about massage therapy schools. I'll write an article
    containing unique content about massage therapy schools.

    Now I'll put some adsense code on the web page.

    Another keyword I could use is massage therapy equipment.
    You could easily find out that massage therapy equipment
    has an Avg CPC of $2.95.

    So maybe I'll create a web page about massage therapy
    equipment. Only on this page I'll place affiliate links to
    massage therapy equipment being sold on amazon or
    ebay.

    So I might be able to make a profit on this topic. I know
    from the information I got from Google Trends that the
    amount of searches is relatively constant, so I can hope
    that the money I might make would be relatively constant
    also.

    Naturally, I would have to get targeted visitors to my website
    and hope they will buy from amazon or ebay or click
    on adsense links.
