How would I go about selecting the right width for my website? I tried using a fluid width, but my website looks weird in different sized browsers. I'd rather just use 1 size, but how do I decide?
You should probably find out which aspect ratio is the most commonly used, perhaps looks for online polls, or better yet, a census of some kind. Maybe start your own poll? I personally use 1024x768.
