A domain is simply the web address that you type into your browser and you get the desired page. For instance you would type http://hostmovie.freehostia.com in your browser to go to the web site. The most common extensions are ".com - .net - .org.", however there are many more are available like .biz. Today, domain names are easy and affordable to reserve but taught to get the perfect name. The average price for a domain is anywhere from $10 to $50. Domain names are officially managed by the worldwide organization ICANN (The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). When you purchase a domain name you purchase it through a registrar that has been accredited by ICANN. Many web hosts (ISP) will help you to reserve domain name for you, but the advantage to reserving your domain through a pure domain registrar is the best way and you will get the actual price. You can use two words with - sign between them to make it different.
