seems to be harder to get indexed by Google...

I'm finding it to be really strange as to why some pages/sites get indexed instantly, and others just don't - no matter what you do. I have two sites that have been claimed in Technorati, del.icio.us and a few others. When you do a Google search for the direct URL, all you get is the Technorati reference...and it's been up there for 2 weeks now!

Yea you shouldn't submit your site to technorati or any social bookmarking until its ranking really, otherwise you'll be competing against those rankings.

Its really easy to get indexed, i get my sites indexed with 2 days every time.

Try just setting up your sites with some content and submitting them. Let them get indexed a few times before you really start to prmote them.

I would rather let google find site then submit it. I build links to the site and when google finds the site they list it faster than if i submit it to them. If you have a site that gets spidered alot just add url to that and they will list it faster.
