Seems Like There's a Problem With My Product or with CB!!

    Hi guys! Well less than a month ago I announced my first CB niche product called The M1graine Rel1ef well, since then I've been receiving hops (thanks to the affiliates that are promoting it) but well there's something terribly wrong and I don't know what's happening.

    There are only about 3 affiliates sending enough hops but sales are not what I expected, not even close. We tested this product before launching it with Cb using Paypal and we managed to make around 20 sales using a different name(domain) but same sales letter, graphics, and offer, well I guess looking at my stats and all the factors that there are 4 possible reasons:

    1.- CB is F*ed up (most likely)
    2.- Traffic is not very targeted
    3.- The product needs some tweaking here and there. (probably)
    4.- The price is too high (if we lower the price then it's not going to be goof for affs)

    So I'm working right now in other projects and I'd like to keep working on this one, but at the moment it's not possible, I'm sure that I can solve this but I don't have time, which is kind of sad because it really is a great HQ product with a lot of valuable information and great aff section.

    I'm thinking very seriously about getting rid of it and sell it to someone else, because I don't have time (at the moment) to see what's happening. Or the other option for me is to pull it out from Cb and sell it with Paypal.

    It is important to mention that our expert team of market researchers did all the research previously. There's a huge market for this product, enormous, people searching for alternative treatments and remedies for migraines and there are other similar products (not in CB) selling this information and we know that those products are doing really well.

    Well what do you think guys?

    P.S thanks again to the affs promoting it, if you're sending good targeted traffic sorry for that. If you're paying for traffic please stop your campaigns right now.

    Thanks

    I think you should test it for a little longer, before making any conclusions.

    I wouldn't sell it that early.

    If you had success selling it through paypal, why not go ahead and do that. It does not need so much work to do that.

    Its more likely to be a problem with traffic rather than with CB.
    Its possible that the affiliates aren't sending targeted traffic. And I came to know about your product today!

    All alternative treatment products claim to cure a person 100%. Its possible that you don't make enough 'unrealistic' claims on your sales page thats why the conversion is low. There could be different types of migraine problems and your product should claim to cure 'all' of them. Then all types of migraine related traffic will be useful for you :)

    Well, you can send me articles to rewrite.. I'll start promoting this one soon.

    Before buying the product by Elizabeth, many wannabe buyers will check out the about page. There are many typos there and she is neither a naturopathist / herbalist or into any such related profession.
    She also doesn't make any 'strong' claims that the product will work.

    Also she is a business consultant. If i was the buyer, I would think she is just trying to sell a few tips and tricks to 'make money'. So my suggestion is that you should claim your product to be the best available treatment to cure all types of migraine problems as claimed by other top alternative treatment guides.

    @jacky
    Making claims like those for ebook products or any product for that matter not approved by the FDA is illegal, and could end up with a large fine or even jail term.

    @inzpiration
    The actual problem is that there are too many alternative migraine medications to consider, this isn't like yeast infection or eczema where only a few dodgy creams exist as competition, it's a billion dollar industry with reputable companies advertising online and they certainly can offer more credibility. One suggestion is: You could tweak your sales page to mention other cures like pills, aromatherapy etc. and why they don't work, as opposed to implying it like you have. If you've seen FL4I the first thing you notice is they improve their own credibility by contrast.

    This is a very profitable niche and can make a lot if you find the angle to approach it with. All the best for the product.

    @Medic
    You always provide good advice here

    There are various ways to convey that this product is the best one you will ever see. You can use comparisons like you said. Using lots of fake testimonials also helps. Like you can cover a lot of migraine related problems with lots of testimonials. Say if there are 5 major types of migraine problems, 5 of your testimonials can talk about one each.

    You don't need to directly convey a thing. There are always ways to say it so it doesn't go against the law. The hemorrhoids, panic attack and cancer cure all claim to fully cure you without any doubt.

    This is just my opinion. We are free to express our opinion here. And since inzpi has personally helped me a lot, i want to tell him what i think. :) I am sure he will get my point.
    good luck claudio

    Thanks for your comments guys! I really appreciate it, well you're right, maybe I should test this product a little bit more, maybe also sell a similar copy myself with Paypal, yes, it is a big niche and I understand that there are big companies, :p But well, I'm sure there's enough market. Thanks for the input Medic* ;) much appreciated, also thanks for your opinion Jacky, I get your point, I know you're trying to help me.

    Regards guys!

    We'll see what happens

    Good luck with it. This is a very "needy" niche with similar customer motivations to my tinnitus product (i.e. desperate for a cure, even suicidal thoughts due to the intensity of the condition).

    I love the design and layout of the page (did you do this yourself?). Somehow I missed this product first time round. It's easy to point out a possible correction or amendment but your testing has shown it works. I would give it more time on CB to see what happens. You need a lot of sales, like 50 or so, before anything can be gleaned from the test.

    Good luck!

    It is more than likely a traffic targeting problem, not anything to do with CB. You might've done plenty of market research, but how much split testing of different sales approaches have you gone through? How many different variations of the page? How many different price points and offers (bonuses etc)? Have you surveyed the market to see if you're delivering what they want in a way that they understand? Do they "get it"?

    Maybe you've done all that and it still comes out a dud. If so, then think about ditching it, but ONLY after you've got solid statistical evidence as rolf said. I'm still testing my "Free Gadgets" product (see sig), and even though the gravity hit 17 this week it's definitely not ready for a big announcement here (I want to lower refund rates and boost commissions) - I want it to be perfect! It's all about testing, testing and testing. Keep tweaking and testing and eventually it'll come good.

    Start with big changes and split test them first. These will show you the general direction of the sales message that works the best, and then you can move to smaller and smaller tests to maximise conversions in that direction.

    It's a great product and a great sales page. Stick with it and is has the chance to be very successful. Best of luck.
