Seeking WordPress Theme Designer ($150 Job) - No Coding Necessary

I'm looking for someone that can make 10 unique WordPress .psd designs. I'm willing to pay $15 for each unique design.

The designs obviously need to not have any license issues, meaning you absolutely can not use images that could give me copyright problems. I need full rights for all of the designs.

I would like to use this to find a talented designer that can make theme designs for me every week, and this will be sort of a test run. I will pay you $15 upon completion of each theme, again I'm looking to buy 10 themes right now.

Please post samples of your work if you're interested.

Nick I'm looking for a designer that wants work every week. I see themes in Digital Point that sell for less than that almost every day. I would offer more if I was only looking to buy one theme, but really I'm offering steady work to a solid designer.

BTW, good luck getting $200 for that theme in your sig. ;)

The themes that sell for $15 are absolute rubbish, all Nick is saying is expect to get what you pay for. What you're offering to pay I make with one theme and it's not like I've priced myself out of the market, people recognize quality.

I've actually found some really good themes already because of this thread. ;) I've already purchased eight themes today and they're great.

No offense, but I wouldn't pay $150 for one PSD that was uncoded unless it was out of this world. You can have a professional design company make an entire theme that's coded with everything you need for like $300. Most of the work that goes into that is coding and I'll be doing the coding on all of these.

The standard of design on DP is very low for those sorts of figures.

I haven't seen the work that you have bought but I have seen the work that Adrian has done for your blog --- basically exactly the same as most of his other work and not that good. The majority of his work is quite average - no offense, but that includes yours. (Unless you had chosen to blog about Ireland, when it would have become nice and appropriate.)

I paid for a logo for him and while he delivered within his $10 promise it won't be good enough for this as-yet-unlaunched project because I want something that looks professional, not something that looks like it's from a cookie-cutter.

It's pretty much a rule on the internet that some know code, and some know design, but noone knows both code and design. You've done great work with your optimized themes so you're clearly a coder. Fellow coders won't tell the difference between the cheap themes you're buying and something better. Design-lovers will be able to and my concern is that you will lose credibility with them.

Keep up the good work with the blog.

See these are the things that upset me a lot of times. Because the business is international ,the prices have come way lower then the thousands of dollars it used to be. People laugh at you when you charge a high price for what normally should be the price. I don't think anyone can work 3 dollars an hour anymore.

    Hey Newton!

You're 100% right, my skill is in coding. Right now I'm just looking for some cheap themes because I have a new WordPress theme base-code that I have created. I need to be able to test its integration with new designs. I don't need anything spectacular for this - hence the low price.

Newton I have no visual ability whatsoever and I'm working with what I have. As soon as I have perfected a code-base for a theme that is optimized for SEO, Adsense, customization, and widgetization I may be ready to buy some themes that are more premium.

My logo is just fine for now - there is no need to spend a million dollars for a premium logo when the site is growing.
