Seeking Web Developer as Business Partner for Hip Hop Site

I am currently in the process of creating a fully functional transactional hip hop website that will feature exclusively leaked music from the largest mainstream artists in the world to exclusive independent artist profiles, mixtapes, clothing, services, clubs and more. However, the designer I was working with was not putting forth the effort that I expected and now I must start from scratch again.

I live about an hour S/E of Pittsburgh, PA and Im 26 years old. My background is in Business Marketing/Advertising. My work history includes Director of Marketing for the largest supplier of 3rd Party Insurance Reconciliation Software in North America and Marketing Specialist for The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy (Pittsburgh Region). However, working for someone else in a stale field was not very rewarding career wise so I decided to get more involved in something that I really loved which was Hip Hop. I began a business relationship with Lowkey who runs YouHeardThatNew.com (you may or may not have heard of it). In November of 2007 I came on board as the marketing guru to drive traffic to his site and also started a section called the New Artist Spotlight which focused on up and coming MCs in the game. We featured 3 artists per week from NY to Sweden. While working with his site I was able to increase the hits per day from 5K to 15K within the first 3 months. My intention was to transform his blog into the full functional site I described in my opening paragraph but in March of this year he became head of Web Content for BET.com and could not turn it down.

Since then I have really been focused on promoting individual artists and attempting to launch my own site. As I mentioned though recently I have had to dismiss the Web Developer I had intended as using as my partner.

Part of my plan is to sell individual artist profiles which I have already done the research to know that people are willing to pay for that feature and currently I have a database of over 6,000 artists to contact. I already have the domain name and hosting set up. I am looking for a partner to share in the development of the site and also the profits. However, I do not expect you to shell out for any of the start up costs.

I have a business plan along with a page by page layout that Im willing to email to anyone with an impressive portfolio and interest in the project. Any feedback is appreciated and I look forward to speaking with you soon.
