I need a simple Point of Sale program written in VB or .NET.

This will require the use of a barcode scanner and a credit card reader and will need to be able to communicate via HTTPS with my credit card processor to receive credit card authorizations. Lastly, it will need to be able to print to a receipt printer.

More details: I'm currently using a custom e-commerce system with a mysql database for online sales. It will be running on a laptop with a touch screen and internet connection. This program is for direct over the counter sales and will need to be able to utilize the product data from the database in order to create a sale. The products can be found on my site in my sig. Most products are available in various colors and color combinations. The barcodes on the products have only the base product info in them and not the color information. The POS program will need to be able to read a barcode scan and present a screen showing the base product along with buttons for the various colors so that the operator can scan a product, touch a button on screen to select the color and have the item added to the "cart". This then can be done for numerous products and then there should be a button for "checkout". This then should have the option of cash or credit. If credit, then the program needs to be able to read the credit card info, accept keyboard input for address, zipcode and phone number, calculate the total and send it to the payment gateway via HTTPS. When the gateway responds, the program needs to read the response and either conclude the sale by printing a receipt for the customer to sign and a copy to give to the customer. Or it needs to end the sale and prompt for cash or abandon the cart.

I have $200 to spend and I know for a good programmer, this is pretty simple stuff. I just don't have the time to do it myself.

Contact me if you can do this and provide some samples of your work.

    Thanks
