Hi all, I'm seeking some advice on marketing with genuine enthusiasm. When I start to write, or even just think about, all the amazing (tech. and Net) opportunities the next ten years will bring, "I think I sound too much like a Net newbie". My first experience on the Net, for fun not money, was '97 and much more by '99. Back then, it was too easy to 'stumble upon' dozens of sites saying a variation of the exact same thing... "E-commerce is booming and the expected growth is...(blah, blah, blah) Well, "Yes Virginia, there really is a Santa Claus" The fact is today E-commerce is booming and the expected global growth is phenominal. My point is exactly what I said in the title. I'm looking for advice on how to Communicate Enthusiasm Without Sounding Like A Newbie. I'm glad 'you guys (and gals)' are here, and thanks for any helpful input. MGH ps. I know the huge text is 'Newbie-ish', so in addition to other advice are there any times you personally do use big text?
if YOU are truly successful in what ever YOU do and publish about your own success to inspire others, ... then the honesty of your own detailed experience to be shared will be more powerful and more inspiring than just a few enthusiastic words from a dictionary the power of truth is beyond words however you may need to supply real facts about your own success
I think if you genuinely communicate your honest excitement, readers will identify that honesty. Don't overplay your excitement, or attempt to dim it down, just communicate your ideas and you should see a big response. A lot of people are in your position, having worked with the web for nearly 10 years now, and many are still "Newbie" excited about its capabilities. If you build it, they will come.
