Hi Friends, I am about to set up a small outfit for Internet Marketing. I will be providing services like SEO, SEM, Web Design etc. I realise that the name of the company is very for easy recall as also to connect with the services I will be providing. IN this regard I am seeking some name suggestions. I need the names to start with alphabets A, I, J, V and Y. It would help if you could add a meaning to names you would like to suggest. I would start with keyword research in the markets you're going to hit. Then you can brand everything linked to the keywords and pick up your required domain names etc...
Sure ... I would base my company name on keywords so if I was setting up a Web Design company I'd obviously want that keyword, "Web Design", in my business name and domain name. I would do some keyword research (using the free Google Keyword Tool) on "Web Design" to see what people are searching for. This would give me a whole set of keywords to work with. I'm looking to create a set of highly targeted keywords and phrases that describe the products and/or services exactly that are in my niche. Obviously what I'm looking for is a combination of keywords that get enough searches on Google. This list may throw up phrases like: custom web design custom website design custom web designer affordable web design bespoke web design and so on ... I'd use this list to check domain name availability. No point choosing a company name if the domain isn't available! :-\ If you are offering several different services like design, seo, programming, etc you might want to include the word "development" or "developer" instead of design. You may also want to buy further domain names based on local searches to make sure you pick up local work. This can be done by adding your local town name ... TimbuktuBespokeWebDesign.com (I'm not suggesting you use this) The reason for doing all this keyword and domain research is to ensure that you create a brand identity which is important in today's marketplace.
I agree! Domain name is important and for sure you will need some proper keyword research using the Google Keyword Tool, it doesn't make sense to choose a company name if you don't find the URL you want to use still available to buy

I do agree that domain name is critical and thats what i am gonna do as well. but since my local market is Asia the Business name needs to be something that has easy recall and is innovative. Hence seeking suggestions. The reason for choosing the alphabets A I J Y and V is that these are my lucky aplhabets. Its been tough arriving at names till now as all the names I have come up with have been rejected by the registrar of companies. I have to submit a fresh list soon.

If you wish to appeal to a local market first before venturing elsewhere, you can use keywords from local dialects. Alternatively, post selected keywords and we could experiment with hybrid local/English words.
