Seeking for a bulk domain registrar

Hi guys,

I'm about to buy some domain names and I'm a newbie in this area.
Searched in G and found some firms offer $1.99 or $2.95 for .com domain per year - can that be true?

For example I found that iPower offers $2.95, but they are not big players I suppose - their page has PR0... lol.

In fact I'm interested in bulk domain purchase (50+), and seeking for a reputable registrar that won't run away from that market. Price about $2-$5
per domain/yr or $3-$6 per domain/2yr is what I look for - any advice?

 

Registrars pay $6.25 for a domain, so no reputable registrar will sell you domains at the price range you are looking for.

Anyway, you could use of Godaddy's coupon codes to save some $$$ (For example, I think "goox3004at" saves $2.00. And "candy" saves $5 off of any order above $30)

godaddy.com base is 6.95 I think and I just used the promo code "amazon" today for 10% off so it's probably still good and you get the privacy option for free.

Yahoo is doing a special for $2.99 (but private reg is additional). I haven't tried yahoo only becuase it doesn't look like they support bulk registrations and i always register in bulk.

You can buy 1000 domains at $6.49 each. This is the lowest no-strings attached offer I have found after scouring several bulk domain registrars since 1999.
