Wordpress doesn't do it's introductions well, it's been a while since I used it but there's a field to put your real intro so you don't end up with a word salad like this It takes a bit more work but it's worth it. This one looks like an ad but I'm not sure, I have no idea if Sesame is a company or just a seed Overall it looks kind of old fashioned, the share and like buttons on the homepage are unnecessary, you won't share or like until you've read the actual article. You do need to rethink some of your copy. On relationships you say there's a guy we trust, but then always refer to "we" and never introduce this guy so how do I know if I actually trust him?

My first and only concern is within the first sentence of your post. After looking into your categories, your site is "all over the place" concerning the Topics/Focus. With Finance and Wellness/Health being YMYL (Your Money Your Life) niches and very difficult/heavily scrutinized. Ideally you would want specialized knowledge/experience in these industries other than just personal experience/what worked for you. You will come to find that multi-niche sites like this are very difficult to get rankings/traffic. One of the downfalls to new sites are they go "a mile wide" and "an inch deep." I would have chosen one category and went deep before expanding to the next.
I have thought about this at great depth at the beginning and moving forward. This is something that I have had to decide. I am not into just making a site purely on statistics or money. I want a really welcoming and informative platform/forum for all to come and indulge and contribute. I am hoping I guess down the line as it gains more traction, which it is btw, more and more people will contribute including SMEs. I know that this is risky because it goes against common seo practice but again it is more about bringing people together than making money. My site has been well received by many and have even gotten emails stating how helpful some viewers have found my site to be. I am hesitant to hone on just one area. All sites do this. Travis, the only other thing I would add, is don't forget SEO and Monetization are two different things. SEO being for increased visibility/traffic, not necessarily for making money. Although it helps greatly in monetization. Wikipedia for example has great SEO/traffic, yet they don't monetize other than donations.
First impression is kinda good. You need to remove the moving header at the top. I really love the aesthetics. Looks creative. The name of the website is mentioned a lot on the homepage. You need to mention it once or twice but no more than that. I think selling books is a great idea. The colors on the website needs work. It's like you haven't decided if you want it to be dark or light so you pick both. Having a forum is a great idea. And to be honest, I would rather have the forum rather than the blog. With the forum you get advice from more than one person which is good because everyone is different. I hope that I was helpful Good luck with your project
Thank you for your feedback. I did make some updates. Tell me what you think! My SEO benefits a lot from having my business/website name in multiple places. I reviewed and I only see it in the header, sidebar and the footer. All common places to have the site title in my experience.
I love that now it's all black. Great job. What is the point of the moving header below the ClickBank link at the absolute top? I think it should be removed and your logo should be at the absolute top instead. But everything else looks great
Thank you! The scrolling gallery is just images for esthetic purposes. It has decreased my bounce rate a great deal and also has increased direct traffic so some people really like it. Received two direct messages regarding how well received it was when it was introduced. I am hesitant to remove it. It is eye catching and seems to keep people on the site longer.
In this case you should keep it. I actually like it. Did you make it yourself? It looks really good but I did not see the point. But since it decreases your bounce rate then you should keep it.
I did make it myself. I received feedback from some that said my site was old fashioned and needed some excitement. So I added the scrolling gallery to give it a modern look. I am glad you like it. It doesn't have a point other than to please the eye.
