Hello All, I am considering diving head first into the SEO services arena and I am looking for a unique partnership. This is not a monetary partnership, its a partnetship of knowledge. I would like to sit down (virtually of course) and talk about a solid step by step approach that we both can agree on. My plan is to create a strong, repeatable, and flexible approach that can be used on just about any client in any industry. Again, there is nothing to gain for both of us besides knowledge. I would prefer this partner to have some experience in the SEO services arena, and some experience in dealing with real small businesses would be a huge plus. These are two of the things I bring to the knowledge table so I would like to start on the same level. Also, just for competitions sake, I dont want to be in the same market as my "partner" so please only inquire if you are far, far away from the Northeast of the US lol. I hope to get some PM's soon! Could I suggest searching for free seo audio podcast? That's what I did a few years ago and was able to learn a lot! Plus there is always the free seo fast start pdf guide and it gives fairly good information too!
You said you are about to dive into SEO, which means you are new in the field, what are you bringing to the table that could possibly be of any use for your "partner"? Doesn't sound like a partnership to me. SEO is dynamic and this is not such a thing as an approach that could be used for any client and industry. Different methods are used depending of the industry, how competitive the keywords are, whether the competition engage in SEO as well, clients budget, site language etc.. Furthermore, things change almost on a monthly basis and SEOs have to keep learning over their careers or their methods would soon become outdated.
And what indeed would you bring to the arrangement? Don't want to sound too cynical but what would the partner get out of it?
Hi There, First, I do not feel that I am in need of a tutor, I am indeed in need of a collaborative effort. I was expecting to see one or two positive responses before I mentioned the details. The truth is, I have been at this for a few months now....until now I have only sold others products, and worked a lot with affiliate marketing through PPC and Article Marketing. The approaches I took to work in that sense are a little bit different (I feel) than that of working with actual SEO clients. Is this a stupid assumption? If so please set me on the right track. I apologize for not making that clear initially. I know there are some similarities, between the two approaches, but I promise you I am not as new as my post count suggests. I feel it is a collaboration as I do have some knowledge to share, and I am in the middle of some really useful SEO programming projects that may very well be of use to someone who offers the SEO COnsulting advice.
