Seeking Auto Responder Software

    Hi all,

    Pretty soon we are going to FINALLY be moving to a server side shopping cart after dealing with hosted for years.

    Because of that, we need to find a new Autoresponder software that will integrate with Magento.

    We need one that is like Aweber, Mail Chip, 1SC, etc & doesn't have the restrictions about adult companies.

    While we are NOT a porn company (we sell adult e-books, software, etc.), the TOCs of many of these companies don't allow for anything THEY find questionable, & I'm now learning from my assistant that if someone or their ISP or server labels any of our e-mails as spam, even if it's not, our account can get closed down.

    We also need one that has an API so it can be integrated with Magento, or some method of being able to import customers into a list automatically when they make a purchase (allowing us to target autoresponders based on product purchased etc).

    Past 3rd party services, a server side solution may be an option if it has similar features to the 3rd party solutions.

    Even with the hosted versions, it can't be too expensive, we are a very small company. Our autoresponder and client lists are constantly growing and only shrink when someone unsubscribes or bounces, so solutions that price based on list size won't work well for us. A flat fee or pay per email type of solution would be great, as while we may have thousands on our lists, some months only a couple hundred emails in total get sent.

    Any suggestions?

    You can also try these which I know for sure integrate with Magento: aWeber, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor...

    Please read the post carefully, we said LIKE Aweber, & we also said allows for adult companies which most of these don't.

    I think there's one in there we haven't seen before so we'll check that one out - autoresponseplus

    campaignmonitor - seen them, strange pricing format ($5 per time email is sent out, plus 1 cent per email. It's aimed at sending out newsletters and such rather than autoresponders). Also adult oriented restrictions in terms.

    constant contact - extremely tight terms. No adult in any form.
