Seeking American, Current Events Forum Posters

I'm seeking forum posters on a blog-twitter style forum. You would be expressing your opinion about American politics and/or current events (both fun and serious issues), which is why it's important for you to live in the United States of America.

The posts are limited to 320 characters each (about 50 words), so you don't have to write a lot, simply express your opinion, be clear on what you're commenting about and/or put a link because not everyone may know what you're talking about. You can also comment on an already written post. You must do a combination of both.

You will make a maximum of five posts per day and a minimum of two. This may change later (if you want it to) when the site gets busier.

You must be familiar with WordPress and have a good command of the English language. You must also be professional: no games, tricks, cheating, copy and paste from other sites, etc. I am very resourceful and I have low tolerance for this type of behavior. I'm too busy.

Short-term work or long-term work available. Either way, I want to try you to see if we're a good fit before we commit to longterm work.


The types of things I'm looking for commenting on are:

• "Octa-mom" (this topic is old now, but you get the idea)
  
• Miss America contestant comments about gay marriage
  
• Do you think President Obama is a Socialist?
  
• Hillary Clinton's looking a little haggard these days. You think?

Here's what I need to see from you:

* Two post-style writing samples, either links to your writing or make something up on the fly (you will NOT be paid for me to see how you write).

* How much news do you consume weekly (read online, watch TV news, RSS feeds, etc.)?

There is no right or wrong opinion, but you must be mature and age 21 years and older, both male or female. Foul language is discouraged as the site is for a general audience.

Initially, I would like to order 5 posts from you if I agree to work with you.

The pay is USD, $0.12 (12 cents) per post to be paid via Paypal only.

You will receive payment upon the completion of work. For larger jobs, we can negotiate 50% payment up front.

I was just wondering why it is 21 and over?
I am 18 and from Washington state. I follow the news on a constant basis and I am taking current world issues, along with politics, etc in school.

 

The arbitrary number of 21 is simply to indicate that I would like for maturer adults to apply. With your level of knowledge about politics, it seems that you are qualified.

 

Do you think President Obama is a Socialist?

All you have to do is look at what he is doing to answer this question. Think about it, government intervention in the auto business and intervention in the housing industry. Do you think that's letting free markets work? When you follow closely his actions, NOT what he is saying, the conclusion becomes fairly evident.

I consume political news...mostly on the radio and online.

If you would like a poster who is well versed, I would love a job like this and long term would be even better.

Do you think President Obama is a Socialist?

Many people have pointed out that they think President Obama is a Socialist. This assumption was made due to some of his actions since he was sworn in as President of the United States of America. This statement has some fact to it as his idea of taking money from the rich to help the poor is a Socialist concept. Many people, like myself, have pointed out that even though President Obama has some Socialist concepts and theories, his agenda is mostly that of a Capitalist with some Socialist concepts thrown in.
