Hello to all, I just wanted to make my self clear about some link development techniques every people talk about. If you could please make me clear of all this because I have already spent so much money on the link development campaign which did not paid me off by outsourcing these services. First of all every 1 talks about articles submission. In my campign guy wrote and submitted 1 same article to almost 250 article directories. Is this okay to do like that? what is the check that the article submitted to directory actually generated link for me. if same article for is not to submit, what is the perfect way to do it? Please suggest. and any list of directories to submit. And for the social bookmarking, is it okay to use same title and description for every bookmarking site or we have to change it every time? Thirdly, for the web directory is it okay to have page rank 3 or 2 and how can I check if it is submitted in the directory as the guy only presented me with the direcotry url and sub category but I did not find it there? How can I check that if he actually submitted. He also gave me IP. And please make me clear about the blog posts, do I have to create my own blogs and and submit articles to that or I should pay some one to write for my site topic which is already having good rank? Do I have to make blog on squiddo, hub pages or any such famous blogger sites? and the same article is being used for postings on blogs. is it okay to do like that? or it is spamming again. Please advise me on all these issues. Thanks to all of you in advance.
Seems like all 3 your issues are related to duplicate content. The answer is simple, YES your backlinks do lose their power if it's duplicate content. If you "blast out" 1 article to 250 article directories that will NOT equal 250 backlinks. Some SEO experts claim that it equals about 1 or 2 backlinks. This is why most submission services now use article spinners to spin "unique" versions of the article. This definitely helps, but you need to have your article 30% unique to bypass any duplicate content issues. You are much better off just submitting the same article to the top 20 article directories. That's quite safe and (for now) it will still count towards full link power. Try and use different anchor text for your links though and if you can mix the titles up between different directories. For social bookmarking it does not really matter - too much trouble to change it for each. If you use Bookmarking Demon you can spin your titles, keywords and descriptions which will automatically take care of duplicate content issues there. In short, focus on QUALITY - don't think that "more is better"
putting the same article on 250 sites is definitely not allright. its better to modify the article first so that it can pass on duplicate content test.. its nothing wrong using the same title for bookmarking sites... however its better to slightly different.. go for every directory possible regardless of the PR. and if u dont see ur link.. that means it hasnt been posted yet.. try couple of days later.. for the blogging, do not post the same content, modify it first.. secondly its better to have more blogs which will link to ur main website from different IP.. hope these helps...
thanks a lot "LOD" and "dadeon". I just needed some more insight into the article spinner, can you explain what is this and how to use this, as I am new to this and dont know about it. if you can explain about blogs as well that, do i need to create fresh blogs for submitting articles and all? and if you can highlight where to create blogs? or i have to pay any blogger who has already got the traffic? your responses helped alot in understanding all this. Thanks
Article spinning is where you take one unique article and then make enough copies of this article with some subtle changes to ensure it is seen as unique by the search engines - this might be altering the title, some of the sentances, ordering...there is software to do this for you but if you can do it manually you will ensure the content is accurate and relevant to your audience.
I've got to chime in here, and say that I think you are definitely taking the wrong approach to SEO. First of all, you should submit completely unique (not just 30% unique, not just 'spun', but completely unique) articles to article directories. Because people are copying and pasting articles from the directory to their own websites, you want to have as many different versions as possible, to maximize the amount of backlinks you gain from it. Also, you shouldn't use a directory submission services. All directories are NOT created equal, and if you end up with a ton of backlinks on directories that Google has determined are all linked together, then you can end p banned from Google altogether. I recommend manually submitting each to only quality directories that you have personally checked out yourself. Sure, this is alot slower, but it's not nearly as risky. As for blogs, what you want to do is look for quality blogs that have good PR value, and that allow do follow links in the comments, and find a blogpost that is very related to your own site. Then add a comment to that blogpost, make sure to add vlaue to the discussion. Provide a thoughtful comment, at least 3 or 4 sentences, that asks a question of the author or makes additional points on the subject, and then leave you link. Do not post something like, "great post, try this site www.yourspam.com". The point is, there are no shortcuts. Each backlink you attempt to gain should be individually evaluated and manually placed. it might be a little slower, but ultimatly, you'll get better results.
ohkayyy I am pretty much clear about this now. Thanks selectsplat and every 1 out there for helping me.tc you guyz
Also keep in mind that a one way link from a highly related site has more power then 100 non related links!
1. It would be better if you spin or rewrite 250x your articles to make it unique before submitting to all 250 article directories. Duplicate issues can get you some penalty too. You will be lucky if there are no penalties for this. 2. Social bookmarking is good if you make it look natural. You can ask your friends to submit it for you for an exchange. 3. You should be able to see your link on the web directory if you paid for the link on it. Also, check the page's PR value. If the domain level PR is 2 or 3, then the category level PR most often will be lower than that. Nowadays, web directory as the least to be utilized for backlinks. 4. You can buy unique blog post contents from DP members on DP forum (Buy,Sell, Trade section under Link Sales category). Just try to get post from related blogs. It will be better if you have multiple anchored link of your choice just to make it look natural. Getting same anchored backlinks might look spammy in google eyes. Any new blog post on high PR blogs, have chances to get high PR on the particular post they made. Again, it is all depends if they give you dofollow backlink. If nofollow, then you don't get the PR juice or google SERP ranking increase from it. Also, google don't like blogs selling blog post with dofollow links for advertisers. It is up to you how you want to convince the blog owners.
i agree with "LOD" and "dadeon". I would like to add a question, how about creating profiles on many website with same user name?
