Seeking advice on an overall design

Hey all, I plan to create a website for my father's grocery store which specializes in high quality (only USDA prime) meats, lunch specials, and pre-made frozen foods such as soups, etc.

Thanks to the recession and the fact that walmart moved in a mile down the road business is dropping significantly and one thing I thought would help would be to setup a website so people can pre-order things online, etc. It is a 3 generation old family business and as a 20 year old I am not prepared to see it go under and as an internet marketer I see a few venues to promote it once I get a website up.

My problem is that I have absolutely no idea what to do for the design of this website, I can't find any wordpress/joomla/static templates that fit the look I am going for. I don't want it to look bad but I also don't need it to look like I am advertising a 5 star restaurant.

I can't even find any good examples of a local grocery store website to go off, which makes it hard for me to know what to aim for. I specialize in work at home types of sites which I can crank out in a day, but I don't know where to go with a physical business.

Any advice in finding a template or even just some general direction would be great, thanks!

Take a look at this site: http://www.acmestores.com/

It's for a chain of grocery stores in my area. It uses alot of big text and bright colors to get people's attention. White, red, and yellow is a good color scheme. It is used by alot of fast food restaurants in their logos and therefore subconciously induces hunger. :)

    Hope that helped a bit.
