I have been getting about 33% increase in CTR and Ad Payout since the new click area change. One of my new site which typically gets about $8.00 a day is now getting over $12.00 a day. Now, I dont know if this is directly connected to this change, but traffic has been the same, %ages have been coming from the same referral traffic etc. Is this just luck? or could there be a possible relation to a click area reduction yields a higher payout? No idea. Good things thus far tho. What are your thoughts on this? -Tim
To soon to say something like that. I experienced higher earnings the first day, then back to normal, then higher today. Only been two-three days. Give it a month . Congrats on the extra earnings.
Thank You, I agree, it is to early to speculate, but it was a very random increase....but then again, we are talking about Google here.
I dont think that due this ads change ctr will increase but it will only slightly decrease our ctr only accidental clicks are reduced now, and I think people before that change were also clicking on the title and url.
