Yeah there is a new set of algos rolling out and I have really lost out on it too I have droped from 4th to 12th on my main keyword. Here use this tool to check it out if you dont belive it would happen so soon after the last update. SEOChat Multiple Datacenter Position Check Tool
Getting the same for keywords I never got traffic for but then I could just be coming out of the aging delay and it's a coincidence.
Something has been happening for the last week. It began on 5 to 7 datacenters and spread to 23 datacenters two days ago and yesterday. I went from 27high/34low on my most competitive keyword up to 14high/17low in these 23 datacenters. (Major happiness.) Look for yourself at http://www.seocritique.com/serptool/serplist.htm There has been dicsussion and confirmation at WebMasterWorld. Some are speculating that this is a full blown update, however there is no word--yet--from Brett Tabke (to whom Google has assigned the honor of naming the updates) nor from Matt Cutts.
I feel p***EDoff seing some of my clients result in google. My clients competitor site uses "Frames" in his site and moreover it looks crap to me. Dont know what G' doing.
Yeah I know how you feel. All the sites that have overtook me are newer sites with less links and nothing special content wise some are really bad even. I suppose it is a matter of just waiting and seeing for the min as this is how it goes when changes are made they at the start a load of naf sites overtake you and then it seems to sort its self out.
Well there is something going on cause one of our new sites which was nowhere to be found for a few of our primary key phrases is now showing on on several of these datacenters in the top 30 and top 10. Google might just be teasing us though, we will just have to wait and see.
I saw a jump in my rankings and traffic about 3 days ago - my traffic has increased by 2x (me smiles). Something has definitely changed..
Hm...My site used to have around 80,000 listings in Google, went down to around 400 becuase of supplemental hell, then crept back up to 8,000. Now I checked, and I have 20,000!
No changes to any of my sites. However, last time this happened my sites were the one of the last ones to change. Maybe I am at the bottom of whatever list? IN other words, who gets picked first. second and so on? Anyone know this?
I am seeing some new keyworks creeping in that were not even on the radar last week - BUT it is hard to determine if this just a slight reshuffling in SERPs or something more without more evidence.
Looks like the results I was seeing in the thread about those two mysterious DC's... same serps jump for the one I was tracking. By the way, my indexed pages took a huge dump today on all my sites over 10K, are now showing about 500. Boooooo!
Data Center Position 216.239.53.99 99 216.239.53.104 99 216.239.39.99 17 216.239.39.104 17 216.239.37.99 17 216.239.37.104 17 If been getting results like this for weeks now. What pisses me off is to be number #8 for a plural of a term and #108 for that singular term. Great.
You carnt rely on anything with Google(Except things will change again soon enough), but yeah you will be top for at least a short while then till these results roll out accross all datacenters they normally have a play around after that though so things could still change yet.
Hope it will remain that way.. I've been watching it since last week. I've the position #14 for my major keywords... Its a good news
