The guy in Uganda is prolly making bank and enjoys to have his neighbors, family and friends wonder where he gets it.
It's pretty amazing how much you can learn when you don't have a specific job (just fiddle all day). Someone should give me a degree or something. heh
I can give you a free degree in Wacko 101 if you want to take da free course!! It's really easy to learn!!
Funny see so many europeans! Maybe one day I'll see how many americans are in this forum when here is night
Wow, that is some amazing stuff. I didn't know that google earth has an api (not that I can use it anyway), is the program no longer available?
Read throught the thread...He isn't providing the code (and you would have to buy the database anyway)
I just went to the kitchen to get a snack and I swear my little green pointer followed me as I moved?!
So how exactly did you fix it? I can't find the map div in your code at all now....I'm trying to replicate this I have the same problem...
I ended up just moving all the JavaScript for it to the end of the page (outside of all the divs) and it fixed it. I doubt it's global that you can't put JS in a div. I think it had to do with the complexity of the divs and that it was within divs that were nested many levels within other divs. Who knows... I'm just glad it works now.
Man, I love Google's Map API. Anyway, minor addition... added a drop-down to move/zoom to different parts of the world (easier than the default zoom/move tools).
Can we be able to see on the map which pin we are? I'm curious to see how close to my actual location it is. I think (since I'm at home now), that its about 1 or 2 miles away (probably the local hub or something) but at work its off by an entire county.
Probably... was thinking about maybe making an extra option on the drop-down list (Show Me). So maybe later tonight or tomorrow I'll do it.
